The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Zeytinburnu JK's goalkeeper Orhun Enver had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saffet Eldemir. Ahmet Vefik Seza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bican Akdoğu in the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saffet Eldemir in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orhun Enver prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sakut Arslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 21 minutes, Saffet Eldemir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mazgirt JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saffet Eldemir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bican Akdoğu's late challenge caught a Mazgirt JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bican Akdoğu helped the player get up and apologised. Sakut Arslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Orhun Enver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saffet Eldemir to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Saffet Eldemir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orhun Enver was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Mazgirt JK's Ahmet Vefik Seza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Mazgirt JK from getting a goal against them. Bican Akdoğu got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Saffet Eldemir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orhun Enver read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Orhun Enver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saffet Eldemir's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saffet Eldemir in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 78th minute, Talat Haktanır ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orhun Enver was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Basri Mengüalp charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basri Mengüalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Basri Mengüalp kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Zeytinburnu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hulusi Altın to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 91 minutes, Saffet Eldemir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
