With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Tugay Siddik in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atilla Kağan Orkutay saved Galatasaray SK from getting behind. Arif Tugay Siddik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilla Kağan Orkutay having to make a save. Galatasaray SK's Atilla Kağan Orkutay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Tugay Siddik in the 16th minute of play. Genco Bolat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 19 minutes, Baha Umuralp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baha Umuralp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Genco Bolat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Mücahit Kara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Baha Umuralp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to UltrAsLan getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nuri Keyfer hit a great ball. Baha Umuralp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Bektaş Ali Eryilmaz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Baha Umuralp struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Bektaş Ali Eryilmaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray SK. Rasim Özender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bektaş Ali Eryilmaz having to interfere. UltrAsLan's Bektaş Ali Eryilmaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save UltrAsLan from getting a goal against them. Rasim Özender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bektaş Ali Eryilmaz having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Emran Uygar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baha Umuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bektaş Ali Eryilmaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasim Özender in the 71st minute of play forced UltrAsLan's goalkeeper Bektaş Ali Eryilmaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rasim Özender sped through UltrAsLan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bektaş Ali Eryilmaz. After 83 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Kamer Işıldar.
