Arın Sarı's late challenge caught a rahmi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cevat Dölek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Gökçen Eskioğlu made a huge save. Gökçen Eskioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cevat Dölek in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyfullah İnanır in the 31st minute of play forced rahmi's goalkeeper İsa Yılma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Amador Abarca put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gökçen Eskioğlu. 76 minutes into the match, Amador Abarca notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Galatasaray's Gökçen Eskioğlu. Gökçen Eskioğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Galatasaray defense, Amador Abarca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gökçen Eskioğlu. The Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gökçen Eskioğlu should have stopped the shot. If Amador Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard, long distance shot from Amador Abarca flew over the goal. rahmi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
