Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Kösk's Faruk Deniz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fehmi Kongur got free with Hamdi Cihanmert in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute, Ünal Doğanhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamdi Cihanmert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammet Saruca, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Alpay Kutlar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fehmi Kongur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Erzin's Turgay Keyfer got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 20 minutes, Mümtazer Suhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erzin and the Kösk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mümtazer Suhan hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Yiğit Can Eryildiz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Şenol Topel. Erzin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Faruk Deniz took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şenol Topel. Şenol Topel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Erzin booed when Kösk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ünal Doğanhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamdi Cihanmert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fehmi Kongur in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Alpay Kutlar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şenol Topel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Şenol Topel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faruk Deniz in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faruk Deniz in the 36th minute of play forced Erzin's goalkeeper Şenol Topel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fehmi Kongur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Muhammet Saruca was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hamdi Cihanmert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammet Saruca in the 44th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Erzin got a freekick which was hit by Mümtazer Suhan. After the first half Kösk were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fehmi Kongur was the one to do the kick off. Ünal Doğanhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Şenol Topel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şenol Topel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alpay Kutlar went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Fehmi Kongur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Hamdi Cihanmert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ünal Doğanhan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Fehmi Kongur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamdi Cihanmert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kösk defense, Erdeniz İncel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamdi Cihanmert. The Kösk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamdi Cihanmert should have stopped the shot. Fehmi Kongur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hamdi Cihanmert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fehmi Kongur in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamdi Cihanmert saved Kösk from getting behind. Erzin's Erdeniz İncel got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamdi Cihanmert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fehmi Kongur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fehmi Kongur in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamdi Cihanmert saved Kösk from getting behind. If Fehmi Kongur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Kösk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ünal Doğanhan to maneuver through the defense. Fehmi Kongur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Kösk got a freekick which was hit by Ünal Doğanhan. The Kösk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kösk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
