A collision led to Arhavi getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gökberk Acarer hit a great ball. Alpay Özsungur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağızhan Özsungur in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Hızır Uran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alpay Özsungur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yağızhan Özsungur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alpay Özsungur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gelibolu FK had won after a very even match.
