Batuğ İstanbullu hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Arcan Orguntay hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Arcan Orguntay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kudret Ünsan having to interfere. Ahmet Gündüz Semi kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The Güclükonak fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Güclükonak's Cesur Tansoy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Alim Tengiz fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Güclükonak's protests and gave Alim Tengiz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gürsu JK booed when Güclükonak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alim Tengiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Arcan Orguntay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hasan Tecer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Abdurrahim Yağızkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Gündüz Semi was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Hasan Tecer struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Abdurrahim Yağızkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gürsu JK. Latif Otaran kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Serbülent Yuluğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Gürsu JK's Hasan Tecer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdurrahim Yağızkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hasan Tecer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrahim Yağızkan having to interfere. Güclükonak's Abdurrahim Yağızkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serbülent Yuluğ in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Güclükonak's zone, Hasan Tecer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdurrahim Yağızkan came out of the goal and Hasan Tecer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Güclükonak's goal looked a bit too open when Serbülent Yuluğ came free, but Abdurrahim Yağızkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Serbülent Yuluğ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gürsu JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serbülent Yuluğ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdurrahim Yağızkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serbülent Yuluğ in the 78th minute of play. Alim Tengiz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Gürsu JK's Abdullatif Aliyar tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hasan Tecer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes, Hasan Tecer made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Güclükonak's Abdurrahim Yağızkan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the game, Gürsu JK's Serbülent Yuluğ nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdurrahim Yağızkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.
