After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Efe Koca managed to get in a good position for a shot. özkayışdağı's supporters rose to their feet, but Efe Koca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cebrail Cintay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Doganyol SK's zone, Efe Koca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cebrail Cintay came out of the goal and Efe Koca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdülhak Okutan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şenol Baliç having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Müfit Pekşen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doganyol SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Müfit Pekşen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Abdülhak Okutan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Müfit Pekşen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şenol Baliç. özkayışdağı's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Müfit Pekşen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, özkayışdağı's goalkeeper Şenol Baliç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Müfit Pekşen. In the 33rd minute, Abdülhak Okutan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Şenol Baliç. The goal made the score 2-0. Şenol Baliç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdülhak Okutan in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Doganyol SK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Vacib Ünek hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, özkayışdağı's Birdal Refiğ sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cebrail Cintay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Doganyol SK's Vacib Ünek got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birdal Refiğ to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdülhak Okutan in the 56th minute of play forced özkayışdağı's goalkeeper Şenol Baliç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Ertuğrul Tokel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdülhak Okutan scored 3-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şenol Baliç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 63 played minutes özkayışdağı got a freekick which was hit by Bayram Osmanoğulları. Ertuğrul Tokel hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Müfit Pekşen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şenol Baliç was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After recieving a nice pass, özkayışdağı's Özkan Özak tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Birdal Refiğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Doganyol SK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Vacib Ünek hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Doganyol SK's goal looked a bit too open when Birdal Refiğ came free, but Cebrail Cintay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birdal Refiğ in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cebrail Cintay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Müfit Pekşen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Doganyol SK's zone, Birdal Refiğ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cebrail Cintay came out of the goal and Birdal Refiğ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Efe Koca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. özkayışdağı's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efe Koca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cebrail Cintay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Birdal Refiğ showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 96 minute of play. Doganyol SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
