In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canakkale SK's goalkeeper Korkut Tunçkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Efe Buyrukalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Affan Başkur made a huge save. Penko Zlatinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yenice's goalkeeper Affan Başkur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Korkut Tunçkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Penko Zlatinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Göktürk Acaröz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Penko Zlatinov in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Korkut Tunçkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Canakkale SK's zone, Penko Zlatinov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korkut Tunçkan came out of the goal and Penko Zlatinov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Piccone kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Yenice getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mehmet Halis Yalavaç hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efe Buyrukalp got free with Affan Başkur in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Yenice's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Efe Buyrukalp fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ahmet Ömür Toprak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Korkut Tunçkan made a huge save. If Penko Zlatinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yenice's Mehmet Halis Yalavaç got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Mehmet Halis Yalavaç off the ground.
