Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gökceada's Yağız Sami started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Boztepe's goal looked a bit too open when Yağız Sami came free, but Necmi Aktaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Onur Sargınal came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Boztepe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Onur Sargınal couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Boztepe's goal looked a bit too open when Gazi Binalp came free, but Necmi Aktaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gazi Binalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Necmi Aktaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hakan Sabeddin in the 29th minute of play forced Gökceada's goalkeeper Özal Mevlit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gazi Binalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gökceada booed when Boztepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Efe Atacan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Boztepe's zone, Yağız Sami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Necmi Aktaş came out of the goal and Yağız Sami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 played minutes Boztepe got a freekick which was hit by Kuzey Alatay. Gazi Binalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Onur Sargınal to strike the kick off in the second half. Onur Sargınal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Onur Sargınal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boztepe's supporters rose to their feet, but Onur Sargınal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özal Mevlit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Onur Sargınal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özal Mevlit having to interfere. In the 57th minute, one of Gökceada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gökceada. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Boztepe. Mirkelam Tuncay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Özal Mevlit. 0-2. After 62 minutes, Onur Sargınal made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Gökceada's Özal Mevlit tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st match minute, Boztepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaser Kutsan to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Gazi Binalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gökceada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 77 minutes into the match, Gökceada's goalkeeper Özal Mevlit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Hakan Sabeddin. Onur Sargınal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özal Mevlit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onur Sargınal in the 84th minute of play. Boztepe's Necmi Aktaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağız Sami in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gökceada's zone, Ahmet Hakan Sabeddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özal Mevlit came out of the goal and Ahmet Hakan Sabeddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Onur Sargınal in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Özal Mevlit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Onur Sargınal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Özal Mevlit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muhsin Üstün charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muhsin Üstün the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Muhsin Üstün hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. The Gökceada supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Boztepe's performance. The match ended with a win for Boztepe.
