In the 20th match minute, Fenerbahce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuz Selim Özmen to maneuver through the defense. The tension between the IZMIRGFB and the Fenerbahce players grew even worse after the yellow card. Waclaw Lewandowski kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yavuz Selim Özmen got free with Andreas Norberg in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Güralp Namal hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. IZMIRGFB had won after a very even match.
