Ahmet Ege Acunalp's late challenge caught a Tatvan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Ege Acunalp helped the player get up and apologised. Ahmet Ege Acunalp kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Hazım Akdiken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necat Taze in the 17th minute of play. Necat Taze received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hazım Akdiken came out and tried to block the shot, but Necat Taze slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. In the 27th minute, Mümtaz Okdağ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Necat Taze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Necat Taze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hazım Akdiken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, İlhami Vefai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tatvan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beşiktaş JK the free kick. The supporters of Beşiktaş JK booed when Tatvan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlhami Vefai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cüneyd Ağçelik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davut Yağan having to interfere. Beşiktaş JK's Hazım Akdiken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necat Taze in the 44th minute of play. Şehzade Yeğrek scored 2-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hazım Akdiken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

If Necat Taze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beşiktaş JK's Hazım Akdiken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şehzade Yeğrek in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes in the game, Necat Taze dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 64 played minutes, Tatvan's Atay Onuk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hazım Akdiken came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tatvan reached it. Lütfullah Nurdag fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davut Yağan having to interfere. Cüneyd Ağçelik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Davut Yağan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Nizam Senih mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tatvan and the Beşiktaş JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tatvan getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Nizam Senih hit a great ball. Necat Taze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hazım Akdiken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şehzade Yeğrek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davut Yağan was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Lütfullah Nurdag capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lütfullah Nurdag really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After 83 minutes of play Tatvan's Nizam Senih was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Tatvan's Nizam Senih got a free kick in the 84th minute. A collision led to Beşiktaş JK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ahmet Ege Acunalp hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş JK's goal looked a bit too open when Necat Taze came free, but Hazım Akdiken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tatvan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
