Abdi Saygın Üçok was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Geyve getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ahmet Erdem Aynacı hit a great ball. When Necdet Işıker came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Geyve fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necdet Işıker couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuri Dursunali in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdi Saygın Üçok prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nuri Dursunali came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Geyve fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuri Dursunali couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Necdet Işıker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geyve's supporters rose to their feet, but Necdet Işıker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdi Saygın Üçok breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuri Dursunali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Saygın Üçok having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İlhami Mansur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Geyve's Necdet Işıker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abdi Saygın Üçok. Abdi Saygın Üçok yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Necdet Işıker was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. İlhami Mansur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Ferit Vehbi during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Necdet Işıker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Ahmet Erdem Aynacı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geyve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Erdem Aynacı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdi Saygın Üçok was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nuri Dursunali showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. After 78 played minutes Hatay got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Ferit Vehbi. Abdi Saygın Üçok came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Geyve's Necdet Işıker. But to his dismay, Necdet Işıker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Nuri Dursunali might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdi Saygın Üçok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuri Dursunali ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Hatay's goal looked a bit too open when Nuri Dursunali came free, but Abdi Saygın Üçok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Necdet Işıker made a precise shot to the right of Abdi Saygın Üçok. Hatay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. İlhami Mansur struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ahmet Orhan İcabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hatay. Ahmet Orhan İcabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hami Haşmetli in the 92nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Hatay's Abdi Saygın Üçok got control of the ball when Necdet Işıker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geyve played a much better game than Hatay and deserved their victory. The Hatay players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
