The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Battal Seyyit Tüzün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hulusi Sehhar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hüseyin Rahmi Vecdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hüseyin Rahmi Vecdi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Celalettin Coşkuner made a huge save. Battal Seyyit Tüzün scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hulusi Sehhar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ateş Danış fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gürsu FK's protests and gave Ateş Danış a yellow card for diving instead. Battal Seyyit Tüzün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulusi Sehhar having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ünal Seferoğlulları in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hulusi Sehhar saved Gürsu FK from getting behind. Gürsu FK's Ateş Danış got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Ateş Danış off the ground. Ateş Danış kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Akyurt JK were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Gürsu FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eser Horasan took the corner. The corner ended in Eser Horasan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gürsu FK's Hulusi Sehhar did a great save. Battal Seyyit Tüzün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 50 played minutes Akyurt JK got a freekick which was hit by Ünal Seferoğlulları. Ünal Seferoğlulları could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Hulusi Sehhar made a huge save. Hüseyin Rahmi Vecdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celalettin Coşkuner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Vecdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Baki İpçi's late challenge caught a Gürsu FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Baki İpçi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Hüseyin Rahmi Vecdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anıl Ozan Dilsaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Battal Seyyit Tüzün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulusi Sehhar having to interfere. The Akyurt JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Akyurt JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
