Rüstem Ahioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enis Ülkem might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hakkı Çakıroğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enis Ülkem ran back to his position shaking his head. Abdulbaki Vahat hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match Berkan Işıklar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hakkı Çakıroğlu skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Bahcekapi SK's Nihat Şahsuvaroğlu got a free kick in the 28th minute. Altuğ Makbul charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Altuğ Makbul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aydemir Kutlutekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Gemlik JK's goal looked a bit too open when Enis Ülkem came free, but Hakkı Çakıroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
