After a defensive mix-up in Basciftlik's zone, Nazil Aldemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Üzeyir Tanbey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Haylaz having to interfere. Saltuk Lami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Erol Çağnur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Saltuk Lami ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erol Çağnur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Saltuk Lami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erol Çağnur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şimşek Safer, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Saltuk Lami got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Şimşek Safer succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0.
