Ayhan Cevher took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hayrullah Aymaz. Yakakent SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hayrullah Aymaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Menderes in the 25th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Hakkı Menderes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hayrullah Aymaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 82nd minute Tansel Ademoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrullah Aymaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hakkı Menderes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hayrullah Aymaz was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Tansel Ademoğlu sped through Yakakent SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hayrullah Aymaz. Boztepe JK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
