The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Dinamo Kiev got a freekick which was hit by Habib Özdinçer. Atabey Baysungur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necip Fazıl Şahinalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Berat Arısal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atabey Baysungur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necip Fazıl Şahinalp in the 13th minute of the match. Lefter İshak made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ferdi Payidar immediately put the ball in play. In the 17th match minute, Dinamo Kiev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayındır Dilan to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, BeşiktaşımBenim's Bumin Harmandalı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atabey Baysungur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, Dinamo Kiev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esen Hicab to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Bumin Harmandalı made a precise shot to the right of Atabey Baysungur. Dinamo Kiev's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Kubat Erengüç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Dinamo Kiev getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Erhan Acarbay hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Bumin Harmandalı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atabey Baysungur skillfully saved the ball. After the first half BeşiktaşımBenim were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bumin Harmandalı to strike the kick off in the second half. Berat Arısal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Kiev's Bayındır Dilan got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Bayındır Dilan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. Bayındır Dilan hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Necip Fazıl Şahinalp charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Necip Fazıl Şahinalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The throw-in from Yiğitcan Afşar in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BeşiktaşımBenim's Ekrem Zekeriya. Habib Özdinçer hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Dinamo Kiev's Atabey Baysungur got control of the ball when Bumin Harmandalı tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ekrem Zekeriya hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Dinamo Kiev fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BeşiktaşımBenim were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
