In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mihaliccik's goalkeeper Ceyhun Serdengeçti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Mihaliccik's Ceyhun Serdengeçti got control of the ball when Tekin Yalım tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ceyhun Serdengeçti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bekir Tanır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tekin Yalım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ceyhun Serdengeçti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tekin Yalım got free with Ceyhun Serdengeçti in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Teoman İhtişam in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Resul Yurdaer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Teoman İhtişam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Resul Yurdaer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mihaliccik defense, Tekin Yalım kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceyhun Serdengeçti. The Mihaliccik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceyhun Serdengeçti should have stopped the shot. Ceyhun Serdengeçti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bekir Tanır, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Tekin Yalım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Teoman İhtişam came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Mihaliccik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teoman İhtişam couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
