Ahmet Hamdi Rusuhi started the match with the kick off. Harran's Peker Bucak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berker Rıza Seciye in the 5th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Harran:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Karahalli SK:s goal. Necati Kambay charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Necati Kambay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 17 minutes into the game, Harran's Devran Bağışhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bayhan Yalınayak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Harran getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Osman Özgenc hit a great ball. If Berker Rıza Seciye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erdoğan Selmi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Serhat Özhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karahalli SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harran the free kick. A collision led to Karahalli SK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Serhat Özhan hit a great ball. The supporters of Karahalli SK booed when Harran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Özgenc didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hamdi Rusuhi in the 35th minute of play forced Karahalli SK's goalkeeper Bayhan Yalınayak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Hamdi Rusuhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayhan Yalınayak having to interfere. Peker Bucak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erdoğan Selmi in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berker Rıza Seciye was the one to do the kick off. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Harran's goal looked a bit too open when Erdoğan Selmi came free, but Peker Bucak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berker Rıza Seciye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Peker Bucak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erdoğan Selmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdoğan Selmi in the 64th minute of play forced Harran's goalkeeper Peker Bucak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Devran Bağışhan struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Bayhan Yalınayak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harran. Devran Bağışhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Bayhan Yalınayak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Hamdi Rusuhi in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bayhan Yalınayak saved Karahalli SK from getting behind. Ahmet Hamdi Rusuhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Karahalli SK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Necati Kambay hit a great ball. Peker Bucak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdoğan Selmi in the 94th minute of play. When Osman Özgenc fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harran's protests and gave Osman Özgenc a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Karahalli SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Harran had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
