Rahman Özgunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türker Üke, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Kovancilar FK's Rahman Özgunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türker Üke in the 9th minute of play. Ahirli's Türker Üke got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cahit Acabay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sezgin Canver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gökhan Taşer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tolga Eraslan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gökhan Taşer acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Feyzullay Kaygun. Gökhan Taşer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hıdır Yalaz's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Tolga Eraslan kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, one of Ahirli:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 38 minutes of play, Ahirli's Tolga Eraslan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rahman Özgunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cahit Acabay in the 45th minute of play forced Kovancilar FK's goalkeeper Rahman Özgunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Kovancilar FK got a freekick which was hit by Teoman Aksoy.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hıdır Yalaz to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahirli's Türker Üke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rahman Özgunes. That made the score 1-2 after 55 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Cahit Acabay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ahirli's supporters rose to their feet, but Cahit Acabay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rahman Özgunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cahit Acabay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cahit Acabay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rahman Özgunes was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Rahman Özgunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türker Üke in the 71st minute of the match. Ahirli's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
