An unexpectedly hard shot by Emirşah Yöner in the 3rd minute of play forced Canakkale SK's goalkeeper Lemi Refettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cevat Açıkalın charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cevat Açıkalın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Cevat Açıkalın was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 9 minutes had been played. A collision led to Karamanköy JK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cevat Açıkalın hit a great ball. Paşa Ali Eraltay struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Halit Fahri Boysel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canakkale SK. In the 15th minute, Asrın Yorgun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sertaç Sabir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Halit Fahri Boysel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Paşa Ali Eraltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asrın Yorgun in the 30th minute of play forced Canakkale SK's goalkeeper Lemi Refettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karamanköy JK's Halit Fahri Boysel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paşa Ali Eraltay in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fatih Tongal in the 38th minute of play forced Karamanköy JK's goalkeeper Halit Fahri Boysel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Sertaç Sabir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canakkale SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sertaç Sabir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halit Fahri Boysel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paşa Ali Eraltay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asrın Yorgun made a kick off. Paşa Ali Eraltay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Halit Fahri Boysel having to make a save. Halit Fahri Boysel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paşa Ali Eraltay's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Halit Fahri Boysel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sertaç Sabir in the 66th minute of the match. When Paşa Ali Eraltay came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Canakkale SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paşa Ali Eraltay couldn't finish the play. Sertaç Sabir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Boysel having to interfere. Halit Fahri Boysel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sertaç Sabir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Sertaç Sabir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canakkale SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Paşa Ali Eraltay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Halit Fahri Boysel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halit Fahri Boysel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sertaç Sabir in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute Sertaç Sabir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halit Fahri Boysel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
