Sercan Utku hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 7 minutes, Enginsu Erkinay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catalpinar JK and the TRABZONSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Catalpinar JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enginsu Erkinay to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sercan Utku in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Münir Dalayer saved Catalpinar JK from getting behind. If Reis Sözen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hayati Özkaya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Ediz Kuddusi went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Ediz Kuddusi in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hayati Özkaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th play minute Reis Sözen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hayati Özkaya. 2-0. Hayati Özkaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ediz Kuddusi in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Catalpinar JK booed when TRABZONSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sercan Utku didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celal Müslim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Münir Dalayer having to interfere. Ahmet Koralp Zaid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Münir Dalayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sercan Utku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hayati Özkaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Ediz Kuddusi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After 58 minutes, Okanalp Isfahanlı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TRABZONSPOR and the Catalpinar JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in TRABZONSPOR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! 71 minutes into the match, TRABZONSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Reis Sözen came free, but Hayati Özkaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sercan Utku hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Hayati Özkaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reis Sözen, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Mehmet Ediz Kuddusi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Hayati Özkaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reis Sözen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catalpinar JK's Mehmet Ediz Kuddusi got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reis Sözen struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hayati Özkaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catalpinar JK. Reis Sözen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
