After a rather tough play, Cide's Erberk Uzbay got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Ahmet Gündüz Karanalp fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cide's protests and gave Ahmet Gündüz Karanalp a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cide's Ahmet Gündüz Karanalp got a free kick in the 6th minute. Davut Batıkan struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eregli. Erkin Berksoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cide's Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Cide from getting a goal against them. Rauf Sadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu having to interfere. Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davut Batıkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cide's Ahmet Asım Urandu in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eregli's goalie prevented a goal. Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Rauf Sadi sent off a good shot on target. Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rauf Sadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rauf Sadi came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Eregli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rauf Sadi couldn't finish the play. Rauf Sadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davut Batıkan in the 46th minute of play forced Cide's goalkeeper Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Seyrani Canbulat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davut Batıkan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davut Batıkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Ahmet Asım Urandu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute Davut Batıkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
