Cide's Behlül Demirtuğ couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Catalpinar JK. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Asım Urandu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enginsu Erkinay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu having to interfere. Cide's Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Cide from getting a goal against them. In the 64th match minute, Catalpinar JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mümin Çelikel to maneuver through the defense. If Erkin Berksoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Münir Dalayer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Asım Urandu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 78th minute, Seyrani Canbulat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu was a little too slow when Cemal Namal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-2. When Enginsu Erkinay came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Catalpinar JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enginsu Erkinay couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cide's zone, Reis Sözen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu came out of the goal and Reis Sözen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Erkin Berksoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erkin Berksoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cemal Namal kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Catalpinar JK played a much better game than Cide and deserved their victory. The Cide players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
