The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erkin Berksoy in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayati Özkaya saved TRABZONSPOR from getting behind. The supporters of Cide booed when TRABZONSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Koralp Zaid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erkin Berksoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hayati Özkaya having to make a save. TRABZONSPOR's Ahmet Koralp Zaid got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 minutes of play, Cide's Ahmet Asım Urandu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hayati Özkaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hayati Özkaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ardahan Hanbeyi in the 15th minute. Hayati Özkaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Asım Urandu in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Asım Urandu in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayati Özkaya saved TRABZONSPOR from getting behind. Erkin Berksoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes, TRABZONSPOR's Aytek Durdu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TRABZONSPOR reached it. Hayati Özkaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Asım Urandu in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Sercan Utku was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TRABZONSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cide the free kick. Ahmet Asım Urandu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayati Özkaya having to interfere. Erkin Berksoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remzi Bakkalbaşıoğlu made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ahmet Koralp Zaid sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ahmet Koralp Zaid managed to get in a good position for a shot. TRABZONSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Koralp Zaid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
