Ahmet Gökalp Ataergin came out of the goal and Aycan Serir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erdemli's Ahmet Gökalp Ataergin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aycan Serir in the 10th minute of play. Barlas Saatçioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şerafettin Bozlak in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Erdemli booed when Arac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ateş Sedat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Şerafettin Bozlak fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Barlas Saatçioğlu, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şerafettin Bozlak in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barlas Saatçioğlu saved Arac from getting behind. The supporters of Erdemli booed when Arac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdi Mehmet Erdursun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Arac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ogün Soyselçuk to maneuver through the defense. Barlas Saatçioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sancarbey Gündeş, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Şerafettin Bozlak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erdemli's supporters rose to their feet, but Şerafettin Bozlak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cihat Ongay kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Şerafettin Bozlak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
