Ekrem Orsel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute Ozan Neşit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekrem Orsel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekrem Orsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fatih Yurtseven, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Kavaklidere's goalkeeper Gencal Saban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asrın Samih. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind TRabzon FC's goalkeeper Ekrem Orsel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Kavaklidere's Gencal Saban got control of the ball when Aytunç Şehzat tried to sneak it across the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute of the match, Ozan Neşit tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ekrem Orsel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59th minute Aytunç Şehzat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencal Saban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Ozan Neşit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fatih Yurtsevens short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Ekrem Orsel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 65th minute, but Ekrem Orsel got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving TRabzon FC hanging dry this time. After a rather tough play, TRabzon FC's Alparslan Batıkan got a free kick in the 69th minute. Aytunç Şehzat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to TRabzon FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alparslan Batıkan hit a great ball. A hard shot by Eşref Yeğiner from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Ekrem Orsel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 79 minutes into the match, Kavaklidere's goal looked a bit too open when Demiralp Önateş came free, but Gencal Saban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aytunç Şehzat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gencal Saban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kavaklidere's Fatih Yurtseven got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see TRabzon FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
