The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erbatur Dizdar kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Oğuzalp Safvet came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Ladik JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oğuzalp Safvet couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Altinova FK's zone, Ahmet Çağrı Onkal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Cafer İlseven came out of the goal and Ahmet Çağrı Onkal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murat Selim Şabi in the 20th minute of play forced Ladik JK's goalkeeper Vahit Eriş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Ladik JK got a freekick which was hit by Gökmen Nazım. After 24 played minutes Altinova FK got a freekick which was hit by Recai Tuğaltan. A collision led to Altinova FK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Recai Tuğaltan hit a great ball. If Oğuzalp Safvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Murat Selim Şabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Çağrı Onkal in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ali Cafer İlseven, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Ahmet Çağrı Onkal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Cafer İlseven made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ahmet Çağrı Onkal sent off a good shot on target. If Erdinç Vefakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladik JK's Vahit Eriş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murat Selim Şabi in the 46th minute of play. Ahmet Çağrı Onkal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Oğuzalp Safvet made the kick off in the second half. When Ladik JK's Oğuzalp Safvet in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Altinova FK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Altinova FK's goalkeeper Ali Cafer İlseven, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Altinova FK's Erdinç Vefakar managed to work through Ladik JK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Erdinç Vefakar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 64th minute, Oğuzalp Safvet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute Ahmet Çağrı Onkal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Cafer İlseven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sungur Başay during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ahmet Çağrı Onkal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ali Cafer İlseven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzalp Safvet in the 80th minute of play forced Altinova FK's goalkeeper Ali Cafer İlseven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Oğuzalp Safvet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altinova FK's Ali Cafer İlseven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erdinç Vefakar hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ali Cafer İlseven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzalp Safvet in the 93rd minute of play. Ahmet Çağrı Onkal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Cafer İlseven having to interfere. Altinova FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
