The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulvi İmamoğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mustafa Ali Safvetullah hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Ulvi İmamoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İsmail Cem Uzbay went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Asrın Kubilay charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asrın Kubilay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes MERSİNAKGENÇLİK got a freekick which was hit by Asrın Kubilay. The MERSİNAKGENÇLİK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ETİLİ SPOR were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kudret Derviş to make the kick off. The MERSİNAKGENÇLİK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
