With a left leg Ümit Orbey saved ORDU from getting behind. When Cizre's İlhami Tanaydin in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ORDU's goalie prevented a goal. Orçun Ortanca's late challenge caught a Cizre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 17th minute, Göksel Rakim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ümit Orbey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Abdülhak Baykır charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdülhak Baykır the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abdülhak Baykır hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Göksel Rakim might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ümit Orbey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Göksel Rakim ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the game, Cizre's İlhami Tanaydin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 49th minute, Göksel Rakim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cizre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Burhan Tanören was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, İlhami Tanaydin lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Ümit Orbey. Aygün Yağıztekin charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aygün Yağıztekin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. İlyas Tolga Özsevi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ümit Orbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhami Tanaydin in the 70th minute of play. Göksel Rakim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Ümit Orbey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Göksel Rakim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Ümit Orbey made a huge save. In the 76th match minute, ORDU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boğaç Biçimli to maneuver through the defense. If İlhami Tanaydin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute İlhami Tanaydin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ümit Orbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İlhami Tanaydin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ümit Orbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aygün Yağıztekin was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 98 played minutes ORDU got a freekick which was hit by Aygün Yağıztekin. Cizre's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
