When Ertan Esenboğa came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Sivrihisar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ertan Esenboğa couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdi Saygın Erşahan to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Sivrihisar's Ertan Esenboğa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Halil İbrahim Erensoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Şafşikkoo booed when Sivrihisar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Behzat Rauf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ertan Esenboğa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil İbrahim Erensoy having to interfere. Abdi Saygın Erşahan hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
