The audience was convinced that Refik Halit Mutlualp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tuncer Ünlüer was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Kıraç Uzlet came out of the goal and Atabek Toydemir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Refik Halit Mutlualp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the SAMSUN SK defense, Yavuz Selimhan Verim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tuncer Ünlüer. The SAMSUN SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tuncer Ünlüer should have stopped the shot. Refik Halit Mutlualp might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tuncer Ünlüer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Refik Halit Mutlualp ran back to his position shaking his head. If Refik Halit Mutlualp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SAMSUN SK's Ertunç Ushan got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Persembe SK's Refik Halit Mutlualp in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şanver Eraltay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Persembe SK's Refik Halit Mutlualp got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Refik Halit Mutlualp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Refik Halit Mutlualp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuncer Ünlüer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kağan Beyzade, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 75 minutes of play, Persembe SK's Yavuz Selimhan Verim made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tuncer Ünlüer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Davut Çakır hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute of the match Göksun Kayıhan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kıraç Uzlet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to SAMSUN SK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Atabek Toydemir hit a great ball. Yavuz Selimhan Verim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuncer Ünlüer having to interfere. Şanver Eraltay scored 1-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kıraç Uzlet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Persembe SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
