Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baykal Bozkurt started the match with the kick off. If Mahmut Barbaros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5thth minute of the game Mahmut Barbaros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ipsala JK's Işıkalp Bozoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baykal Bozkurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Sezgin Vurgun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Varto JK's Sezgin Vurgun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Korkut Onatkan in the 11th minute of play. Abdulaziz Akbora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdulaziz Akbora in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Işıkalp Bozoğlu saved Ipsala JK from getting behind. When Yıldıray Erenoz fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipsala JK's protests and gave Yıldıray Erenoz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Ipsala JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yıldıray Erenoz to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Rıza Turay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ipsala JK's Yıldıray Erenoz got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 23 minutes, Mahmut Barbaros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varto JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mahmut Barbaros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 25 minutes of play, Varto JK's Abdulaziz Akbora made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Işıkalp Bozoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Işıkalp Bozoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulaziz Akbora in the 31st minute of the match. Işıkalp Bozoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulaziz Akbora in the 39th minute of play. Mete Şükür hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Mahmut Barbaros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th match minute, Ipsala JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Macit Şentürk to maneuver through the defense. Rıza Turay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

A collision led to Varto JK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Devran Gümüş hit a great ball. Sezgin Vurgun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baykal Bozkurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baykal Bozkurt struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Sezgin Vurgun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipsala JK. Ali Macit Şentürk charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Macit Şentürk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 minutes of play, Ipsala JK's Baykal Bozkurt made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sezgin Vurgun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mahmut Barbaros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdulaziz Akbora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Işıkalp Bozoğlu having to interfere. Ipsala JK's Baykal Bozkurt got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rıza Turay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahmut Barbaros got free with Işıkalp Bozoğlu in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
