Güvenevler SK's Cabbar Toralp got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hasan Tahsin Aktaç during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 12 minutes into the game, one of αƒι̇ℓι̇ уαℓηιzℓιк:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. αƒι̇ℓι̇ уαℓηιzℓιк's Muhsin Hizanlı got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, Güvenevler SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Süruri Dede to maneuver through the defense. If Muhsin Hizanlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zikri Ünalmış made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yahya Kemal Ilgıt in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remzi Saver was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes αƒι̇ℓι̇ уαℓηιzℓιк got a freekick which was hit by Aşkın Dilşad. Remzi Saver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. αƒι̇ℓι̇ уαℓηιzℓιк made a substitution. İlhan Toktahan replaced Muhsin Hizanlı. Mustafa Emre Timurtas hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ali Nabi Ergüner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Güvenevler SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Nabi Ergüner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cemalettin Atikoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st match minute, αƒι̇ℓι̇ уαℓηιzℓιк was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aşkın Dilşad to maneuver through the defense. Cemalettin Atikoğlu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gencal Özal. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Aziz Öksak put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zikri Ünalmış. Derya Sarim might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zikri Ünalmış. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Derya Sarim ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Güvenevler SK's goal looked a bit too open when İlhan Toktahan came free, but Zikri Ünalmış reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th match minute, αƒι̇ℓι̇ уαℓηιzℓιк was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Emre Timurtas to maneuver through the defense. αƒι̇ℓι̇ уαℓηιzℓιк were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
