Cerit JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Akşemseddin Şahit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Atak Yağızkurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Reşat Baykara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Niyazi Baysungur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cerit JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tunç Yergin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
