In the 13th minute, Ferit Öz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Tunç Yergin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerit JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ÇinÇin City the free kick. Binali Tokhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reşat Baykara having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tunç Yergin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ÇinÇin City's Alparslan Arkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save ÇinÇin City from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, ÇinÇin City's Ferit Öz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reşat Baykara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Halil İbrahim Korcan charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 75th minute Ferit Öz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reşat Baykara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reşat Baykara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Binali Tokhan's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Tunç Yergin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerit JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tunç Yergin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alparslan Arkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ÇinÇin City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cerit JK for a fine match.
