Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Yenimahalle's Eralp Cesman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Ali Tekrim in the 10th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Suphi Koray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yenimahalle and the Sögütözü players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sögütözü booed when Yenimahalle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suphi Koray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saffet Öztaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suphi Koray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes of play, Sögütözü's Hamza Girgin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eralp Cesman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eralp Cesman made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Hamza Girgin sent off a good shot on target. Mehmet Ali Tekrim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Eralp Cesman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamza Girgin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Eralp Cesman made a huge save. The referee gave Yenimahalle a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mustafa İzzet Kutberk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sögütözü's Saffet Öztaş. 1-1. A collision led to Sögütözü getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. İlhami Ateş hit a great ball. Eralp Cesman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamza Girgin in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü İmran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Suphi Koray stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sabahattin Suavi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Saffet Öztaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Sögütözü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göktürk Akbudun to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Yenimahalle's zone, Hamza Girgin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eralp Cesman came out of the goal and Hamza Girgin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Hamza Girgin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eralp Cesman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Yenimahalle defense, Mehmet Ali Tekrim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eralp Cesman. The Yenimahalle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eralp Cesman should have stopped the shot. Sabahattin Suavi scored 2-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saffet Öztaş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saffet Öztaş came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Yenimahalle's Sabahattin Suavi. But to his dismay, Sabahattin Suavi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Mehmet Ali Tekrim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Yenimahalle had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
