Mustafa Barış Özertem started the match with the kick off. When Batuhan Hükümran fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FENERBAHÇE SK's protests and gave Batuhan Hükümran a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes FENERBAHÇE SK got a freekick which was hit by Batuhan Hükümran. 6 minutes into the game, Mustafa Barış Özertem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gündüz Özerdem. Mustafa Barış Özertem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Agah Cengel might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aşık Kutal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agah Cengel ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ahmet İlhan Sadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Cevdet İren could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Gündüz Özerdem however easily saved by the left post. Gündüz Özerdem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Barış Özertem in the 27th minute of the match. Mustafa Barış Özertem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gündüz Özerdem having to make a save. Cevdet İren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gündüz Özerdem having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Barış Özertem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gündüz Özerdem was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The wind increased when Ahmet İlhan Sadi made the kick off in the second half. Gündüz Özerdem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Barış Özertem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes, Agah Cengel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FENERBAHÇE SK and the Mecidiyeköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FENERBAHÇE SK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Agah Cengel hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cevdet İren came free, but Gündüz Özerdem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cevdet İren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Barış Özertem in the 63rd minute of play forced FENERBAHÇE SK's goalkeeper Gündüz Özerdem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Mustafa Barış Özertem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gündüz Özerdem. FENERBAHÇE SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Barış Özertem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Mecidiyeköy's zone, Batuhan Hükümran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aşık Kutal came out of the goal and Batuhan Hükümran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Batuhan Hükümran got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 89th minute, Batuhan Hükümran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FENERBAHÇE SK's Agah Cengel got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gündüz Özerdem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustafa Barış Özertem's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
