Batman FK's Burhan Vasfi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güntekin Baykutay in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Batman FK's goal looked a bit too open when Güntekin Baykutay came free, but Burhan Vasfi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Hasan Can Ağcabey managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Batman FK's Cavit Dokuzer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 20 minutes into the match, Güntekin Baykutay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Burhan Vasfi. Batman FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Güntekin Baykutay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Burhan Vasfi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekber Cihansah in the 25th minute of the match. The tension between the BEŞİKTAŞ and the Batman FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Avni Cansefa hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Hasan Can Ağcabey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Köksal Kocakalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ekber Cihansah was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in BEŞİKTAŞ's zone, Köksal Kocakalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Köksal Kocakalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hasan Can Ağcabey. BEŞİKTAŞ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Köksal Kocakalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 59th minute, BEŞİKTAŞ's Evren Muhammed dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After 63 played minutes, Batman FK's İsmet Uluçkan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hasan Can Ağcabey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Batman FK reached it. 65 minutes into the match, Ekber Cihansah notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Batman FK's Burhan Vasfi. Burhan Vasfi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Köksal Kocakalp took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hasan Can Ağcabey. Hasan Can Ağcabey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. After having played for 74 minutes, Ekber Cihansah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BEŞİKTAŞ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekber Cihansah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Köksal Kocakalp came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Batman FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Köksal Kocakalp couldn't finish the play. BEŞİKTAŞ's Ahmet Reha Yaves pulled a muscle in his leg after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Vacib Dündar hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Köksal Kocakalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hasan Can Ağcabey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Köksal Kocakalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Can Ağcabey having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Köksal Kocakalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BEŞİKTAŞ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
