Ayberk Tanak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Fikret Gökyüzü in the 20th minute of the match. Ayberk Tanak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batı Ataner, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Birdal Ballıoğlu got in the 33rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ayberk Tanak handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Birdal Ballıoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ayberk Tanak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Birdal Ballıoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Fethiye's goal looked a bit too open when Batı Ataner came free, but Ayberk Tanak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batı Ataner struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ayberk Tanak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HendekSpor. Kemal Oğuzhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Birdal Ballıoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. İskender Temizhan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fethiye's goalkeeper Ayberk Tanak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alpertunga Soysaldı took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ayberk Tanak. Fethiye's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Batı Ataner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ayberk Tanak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batı Ataner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayberk Tanak having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fethiye's zone, Batı Ataner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayberk Tanak came out of the goal and Batı Ataner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batı Ataner got free with Ayberk Tanak in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Müfit Altunışık hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Birdal Ballıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HendekSpor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birdal Ballıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Batı Ataner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Batı Ataner managed to get in a good position for a shot. HendekSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Batı Ataner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayberk Tanak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Birdal Ballıoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ayberk Tanak was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Ayberk Tanak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birdal Ballıoğlu in the 85th minute of the match. If Birdal Ballıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute, Fethiye's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Batı Ataner fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match was over HendekSpor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fethiye throughout the match.
