The supporters of Akincilar booed when H. ÇEÇE SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. ÇEÇE SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yağızhan Tomurcuk should have stopped the shot. Yağızhan Tomurcuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhan Bilgin in the 31st minute of play. Yağızhan Tomurcuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adem Payidar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to H. ÇEÇE SK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Şeray Kudretullah hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match Akincilar got a corner. H. ÇEÇE SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gürbüz Özgur ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gürbüz Özgur almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but H. ÇEÇE SK's Yağızhan Tomurcuk did a great save. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind H. ÇEÇE SK's goalkeeper Yağızhan Tomurcuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 38 minutes, Şeray Kudretullah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the H. ÇEÇE SK and the Akincilar players grew even worse after the yellow card. İlhan Bilgin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Yağızhan Tomurcuk made a huge save. The Akincilar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Akincilar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
