Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kutlu Dursunali got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hakkı Onur Tüzer during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yedisu booed when Elbeyli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ergün Yalınç didn't get a good kick on the ball. İlyas Delfin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hakkı Onur Tüzer was shown his second yellow card after 10 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 11th match minute, Elbeyli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Onur Tüzer to maneuver through the defense. Elbeyli's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Birant Orguntay 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. When Birant Orguntay came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Yedisu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birant Orguntay couldn't finish the play. Suphi Sertel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gencalp Özertan in the 19th minute. Suphi Sertel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birant Orguntay, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Tayfur Cansoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hayati Yavuzay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kutlu Dursunali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Hami Ergül hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suphi Sertel made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Gencalp Özertan sent off a good shot on target. Birant Orguntay struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Suphi Sertel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yedisu. If Birant Orguntay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Birant Orguntay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suphi Sertel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Hayati Yavuzay made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Tayfur Cansoy sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the match, Birant Orguntay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Suphi Sertel. Elbeyli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Birant Orguntay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After having played for 68 minutes, Alkan Vahat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elbeyli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alkan Vahat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Yedisu's Birant Orguntay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Suphi Sertel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 81 minutes into the match, Elbeyli's goal looked a bit too open when Birant Orguntay came free, but Suphi Sertel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Tayfur Cansoy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hami Ergül charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hami Ergül the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yedisu had won after a very even match.
