The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emirhan Uman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdal Tuğsav in the 4th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, SAMSUNSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Erdal Tuğsav came free, but Emirhan Uman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gianluca Morris came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the SAMSUNSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gianluca Morris couldn't finish the play. Gianluca Morris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, SAMSUNSPOR's Gianluca Morris ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Okan Sebih. Okan Sebih yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Gianluca Morris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAMSUNSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gianluca Morris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Okan Sebih was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Emirşah Özer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emirşah Özer really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Emirşah Özer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SAMSUNSPOR's Emirşah Özer got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Okan Sebih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Morris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SAMSUNSPOR's Aktaç İlkay got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emirşah Özer struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Okan Sebih didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAMSUNSPOR. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of SAMSUNSPOR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Besiktas:s goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Besiktas's goalkeeper Okan Sebih, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

SAMSUNSPOR's Emirhan Uman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdal Tuğsav in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Besiktas's goal looked a bit too open when Emirşah Özer came free, but Okan Sebih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Besiktas's Okan Sebih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emirşah Özer in the 55th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, SAMSUNSPOR's Emirşah Özer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Okan Sebih narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gianluca Morris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paşa Hüdayioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okan Sebih having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Besiktas's Ergün Rafiz got a free kick in the 68th minute. Emirhan Uman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdal Tuğsav in the 74th minute of play. Erdal Tuğsav kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Besiktas defense, Emirşah Özer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Okan Sebih. The Besiktas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Okan Sebih should have stopped the shot. Okan Sebih didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gianluca Morris went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Bünyamin Akartürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Okan Sebih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Morris, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Emirşah Özer managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAMSUNSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Emirşah Özer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Okan Sebih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute Gianluca Morris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okan Sebih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
