Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Enginalp Onguner started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Erbaa FK's Arif Memduh Numan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haşim Tarkan in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Bornova SK's Enginalp Onguner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arif Memduh Numan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Enginalp Onguner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faik Kudret's late challenge caught a Bornova SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faik Kudret helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bornova SK booed when Erbaa FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faik Kudret didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enginalp Onguner struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Arif Memduh Numan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bornova SK. Uğuralp Olgun charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uğuralp Olgun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Erbaa FK's Uğuralp Olgun got a free kick in the 18th minute. The supporters of Bornova SK booed when Erbaa FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uğuralp Olgun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Erbaa FK's zone, Haşim Tarkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Memduh Numan came out of the goal and Haşim Tarkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Bornova SK's Sacit Özgen got control of the ball when Haluk Köksal tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Haşim Tarkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Memduh Numan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enginalp Onguner in the 34th minute of play. Haşim Tarkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enginalp Onguner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Memduh Numan having to interfere. Faik Kudret got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 40 played minutes Erbaa FK got a freekick which was hit by Faik Kudret. After 41 minutes, Enginalp Onguner made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Erbaa FK's Arif Memduh Numan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Haluk Köksal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Recep Tanrıverdi charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Recep Tanrıverdi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Erbaa FK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Recep Tanrıverdi hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haluk Köksal to make the kick off. Haşim Tarkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Memduh Numan having to interfere. After 63 minutes, Ertan Günay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bornova SK and the Erbaa FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Bornova SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ertan Günay to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bornova SK booed when Erbaa FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutluay Hakim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haşim Tarkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Memduh Numan having to interfere. Arif Memduh Numan came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Bornova SK's Haşim Tarkan. But to his dismay, Haşim Tarkan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enginalp Onguner in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arif Memduh Numan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erbaa FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Enginalp Onguner scored to the left of an out of position Arif Memduh Numan, making the score, 0-4. Haşim Tarkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Arif Memduh Numan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Enginalp Onguner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bornova SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Enginalp Onguner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Memduh Numan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Recep Tanrıverdi was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Bornova SK's İshak Yumus shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arif Memduh Numan but with some difficulty. Bornova SK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
