The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Derman Zorbey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Şinasi having to interfere. Mustafa Hamit Dirican might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferit Şinasi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Hamit Dirican ran back to his position shaking his head. Kekova's Ferit Şinasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derman Zorbey in the 11th minute of play. The Barazon Fc fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Barazon Fc's Mustafa Hamit Dirican looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mustafa Hamit Dirican blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferit Şinasi having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Kekova's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Hamit Dirican came free, but Ferit Şinasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Barazon Fc's goalkeeper Genco Demirhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cevher Atılay. Uğuralp Bilginer hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Ferit Şinasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derman Zorbey in the 38th minute of play. Ferit Şinasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derman Zorbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Derman Zorbey was the one to do the kick off. Kekova's Ferit Şinasi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Kekova from getting a goal against them. Alpertunga Hasanoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ferit Şinasi made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Mustafa Hamit Dirican sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Barazon Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Muhammet Rezan came free, but Genco Demirhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muhammet Rezan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genco Demirhan having to interfere. In the 67th minute Cevher Atılay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genco Demirhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Ekrem Ergül's late challenge caught a Kekova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustafa Ekrem Ergül helped the player get up and apologised. Mustafa Ekrem Ergül hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of Barazon Fc booed when Kekova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cevher Atılay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Barazon Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Muhammet Rezan came free, but Genco Demirhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cevher Atılay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Hamit Dirican got free with Ferit Şinasi in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Kekova's Andaç Radi got a free kick in the 86th minute. Barazon Fc's Nafiz İmge couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kekova. Barazon Fc's Genco Demirhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cevher Atılay in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barazon Fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
