The supporters of Simav JK booed when Dicle SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüsnü İmar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanju Paşa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dicle SK's Ahmet İlke Alansoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanju Paşa in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mutlu Altınkaya got free with Ahmet İlke Alansoy in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 minutes, Oğuz Özalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simav JK and the Dicle SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Simav JK's Oğuz Özalp got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Tanju Paşa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ahmet İlke Alansoy. The goal made the score 1-1. Mutlu Altınkaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet İlke Alansoy having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Tanju Paşa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet İlke Alansoy. Tanju Paşa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 39 minutes into the game, Barlas Çaykara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Atilla Tuner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ahmet İlke Alansoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuz Özalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Mutlu Altınkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yüce Secaattin to make the kick off. If Barlas Çaykara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yüce Secaattin in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilla Tuner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 57th minute of the match Oğuz Özalp completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Oğuz Özalp a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 60th minute, Mutlu Altınkaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Simav JK's zone, Barlas Çaykara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilla Tuner came out of the goal and Barlas Çaykara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dicle SK's Ahmet İlke Alansoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mutlu Altınkaya in the 69th minute of play. Ayberk Pekin charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ayberk Pekin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Dicle SK got a freekick which was hit by Ayberk Pekin. Babür Yaren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet İlke Alansoy. Dicle SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 78th minute, Barlas Çaykara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 played minutes Simav JK got a freekick which was hit by Aytunç Sertel. Dicle SK's Yüce Secaattin managed to work through Simav JK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Yüce Secaattin dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Tanju Paşa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ahmet İlke Alansoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dicle SK's Ahmet İlke Alansoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mutlu Altınkaya in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Tanju Paşa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simav JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanju Paşa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mutlu Altınkaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet İlke Alansoy having to interfere. Dicle SK's Ahmet İlke Alansoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mutlu Altınkaya in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
