Hüsmen Uygu came out of the goal and Afşin Sanay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hüsmen Uygu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afşin Sanay, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denizhan Tunçtürk made a kick off. EU FC's Hüsmen Uygu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eralp Gazir in the 58th minute of play. Mirza Şahiner charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mirza Şahiner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of EU FC booed when Karaburun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirza Şahiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched EU FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
