Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Birecikspor FK's Doğa Nurtac started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Silifke's Turgay Mahmut slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ali Berkant Orbey. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. 9 minutes into the match, Kağan Başkaynak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Berkant Orbey. Birecikspor FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kağan Başkaynak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ali Berkant Orbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgay Mahmut, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Doğa Nurtac ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nusrettin Akçam was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 26 minutes into the match, Silifke's goal looked a bit too open when Doğa Nurtac came free, but Nusrettin Akçam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Birecikspor FK's Ali Berkant Orbey got control of the ball when Mehmet Ediz Tecimer tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Boğaç Şükür fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silifke's protests and gave Boğaç Şükür a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Silifke got a freekick which was hit by Boğaç Şükür. If Doğa Nurtac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Ediz Tecimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Berkant Orbey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Ediz Tecimer ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Turgay Mahmut dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ali Berkant Orbey, 3-1. A collision led to Birecikspor FK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Antoine Tannenberg hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Turgay Mahmut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kağan Başkaynak kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doğa Nurtac in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nusrettin Akçam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Doğa Nurtac came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Birecikspor FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğa Nurtac couldn't finish the play. Sezai Öztek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nusrettin Akçam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silifke's Kağan Başkaynak got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Kağan Başkaynak off the ground. After 68 played minutes Silifke got a freekick which was hit by Kağan Başkaynak. Boğaç Şükür hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Doğa Nurtac made a precise shot to the right of Nusrettin Akçam. Silifke's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Doğa Nurtac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Berkant Orbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ediz Tecimer in the 76th minute of the match. Mehmet Ediz Tecimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ali Berkant Orbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Turgay Mahmut charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Turgay Mahmut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Turgay Mahmut hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Birecikspor FK's Ömer Rıza Gençoğlu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nusrettin Akçam but with some difficulty. Basri Özdoğan hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Murat Arıcan kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Birecikspor FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Silifke.
