After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Özgün Sancaktar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turgutlu JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Özgün Sancaktar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Osman Sönmezalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kapalicarsi's Mehmet Osman Sönmezalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cevahir Uluöz in the 23rd minute of play. Özgün Sancaktar hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Şenel Ethem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yenal Vaha. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cevahir Uluöz in the 30th minute of play forced Kapalicarsi's goalkeeper Mehmet Osman Sönmezalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şenel Ethem was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Kapalicarsi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
