Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After taking down the ball on Marmara SK's corner Burhanettin Akbuğ fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gencay Tuğyan quite easily take care of the ball. Marmara SK's Osman Ersal got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rdth minute of the game Naci Okay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karkamis JK's Gencay Tuğyan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tuğrul Tanacan charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tuğrul Tanacan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Yavuz Selim Köksan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
